Alternative education saved my life, and I am on a mission to continue evolving the knowledge sharing landscape so that everyone can help, teach, and learn from each other.

I used to think sustainability was limited to the environment. Tree planting, recycling, no plastic, etc. Still often depicted this way, we're used to seeing popular brands making promises for a more sustainable future. What many aren't speaking to, however, is a dedication to sustainability under the other important areas. There are 17 detrimental pillars of sustainability (the UN SDG's) that are needed to reach true, global sustainability.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL #4

inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.

So many people, young and old, are living with limiting beliefs they are unfit for certain possibilities because they did not excel in traditional education systems. Due to long expired systems that measure and celebrate only a fraction of skills, many believe they cannot achieve in the same capacity as others. Our realities are shaped by our perception, and we become what we believe. Some of the most influential minds impacting the planet today were labeled as having learning disabilities in school, yet they were able to break through and change the world. But what about all the others? How different would the world look if we were all given equal opportunity to learn in the ways that work best for us, not just the ways that have been the same for generations?

let us celebrate, share, and help others grow using our natural strengths and abilities.
